Water Baptism

*Following the AM service, there'll be a Baptism Class for kids/teens (adults also welcome) in the Altitude Room from 12-12:30pm

Baptism is a great picture of our new life in Jesus, and in fact, He commanded us to be baptized. Though the rite itself does not save us, it does prove our salvation since it shows our willingness to obey Him. Baptism check in is at 6 pm, and baptism takes place during the evening service.

Has your child or teen expressed interest in getting water baptized? Did they just get saved recently and want to learn more about it?

Join us on after the AM service from 12pm - 12:30pm for a fun, informational meeting about Baptism. This meeting will take place in the Altitude Room (Rm 500). Although the class is geared towards children and youth, adults are welcome to join! Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

After the meeting, you can decide whether your child or teen is ready to participate in Baptism.

Quick Tips:

• Wear dark colored clothing that's opaque when wet

• Please arrive 30 minutes early (6:00pm) to check in

• We invite you to stay and worship with us for our 6:30pm service

What to bring:

• A complete change of clothes

• A towel

• A plastic bag for wet clothes (optional)

• Any toiletries or styling tools to use in the dressing area (optional)

After Checking in:

Please take a seat in the sanctuary with your belongings. You'll hear a short teaching on Water Baptism by Jay Greiner and will have a chance to pray a prayer of salvation. He will instruct you when it is time to line up. At that time, you will bring your change of clothes with you. Volunteers will place your belongings near the dressing room and guide you where to walk. The tub is warm. Afterward, you will have a chance to receive personal ministry and prayer.
