GWKids Open House: Partnering with Parents in Equipping the Next Generation

All GWKids Parents & Grandparents,

We invite you to join us after church in the Altitude Youth Room (RM 500) from 12-1pm after the AM service on Sunday, September 21st for GWKids Open House! This is a special Parent Meeting where we'll share the vision for our Children's Ministry and how we can partner together to help your kids grow in their faith.

We encourage parents of all ages who have children in GWKids (Birth-5th grade) to attend.

This is a great opportunity for Glorious Way Church to partner with you in equipping the next generation by building a solid foundation in their faith. Raising kids is a big job, but you're not alone! There's a quote that says, "The greatest thing you do for God might not be something you do but someone you raise."

Our Parent Meeting will give you resources, encouragement, and ways to be intentional about instilling biblical truths into your kids beyond just Sunday as you raise them up in the ways of the Lord.

Here is some of the content that will be covered:

• How GWKids can partner with parents, the primary faith leaders in the home, in equipping kids to fulfill God's highest call on their lives.

• Fostering Spiritual Growth within the home: Discipleship opportunities to build strong faith in kids that will impact them not just today, but for a lifetime.

• Parent Resources:

  - How to establish a culture of worship in the home

  - Parenting & Discipleship Books

  - Bibles & kid devotional resources

• Ministry Overview:

  - Age groups & class breakdowns

  - Curriculum overview (themes, Bible lessons, discipleship focus)

  - Special programs/events

  - Worship & prayer time for kids

• Safety & Security:

  - Check-In/Check-Out Process

  - Release Form Updates

• Communication & Parent Involvement

• Testimonies

• Q&A/open discussions

   

Childcare for all ages will be provided (0-5th Grade as well as teens). Right after service on Sunday, the 21st, we will leave all 4 GWKids classes open an extra hour along with our Jr High Room so parents/grandparents are able to attend the meeting.

These are the childcare classes we are providing after church:

- Sunbeams (2 mos-2 yrs, RM 306)

- Sparks (3-5 yrs, RM 304)

- Blaze (K-1st, RM 352)

- G-Force (2nd-5th, RM 520)

- Jr High/High School (6th-12th, Jr High RM 519)

**If your child is staying after church, it is optional for you as the parent to pack them a lunch & bring it to church with them. GWC is not providing lunch. However, we will have plenty of snacks and waters available for both kids and parents.

*Children will be served Apple Sauce along with either Goldfish or Animal Crackers for snack after church. Please let us know down below if they have any food allergies or special needs.
