Glorious Way Church looking to hire a Children’s Ministry Director or Children’s Pastor.

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

The Children’s Ministry Director will impact hundreds of people each week and be part of the collaborative ministry team at Glorious Way. You are a leader of leaders who can recruit, shepherd, and inspire adults and children. He or she will serve the needs of infants and children (aged 2 months through grade 5) who attend GWC, also engaging their parents for the goal of the children’s spiritual growth. This will be done through teams of volunteers which the Director will schedule and coach weekly. The Director will manage the execution of all Sunday morning and evening children’s services along with special outreaches, seasonal events, and parent meetings/fellowships. You will ensure that a Bible-based curriculum, lifestyle and worldview is taught and modeled for the children.

• According to Acts 6:3 someone of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom
• Utmost moral character
• Joyful, energetic spirit
• Experience leading adults
• Success working with various age groups of children
• Have an education background and/or prior experience in Christian Ministries, Biblical studies, or related field
• Excellent English skills, strong in both written and spoken communications
• Highly organized
• Competency in productivity software (Mac OS, MS Office suite, propensity to learn Online Church Management System)
• Commitment to and love for the vision and values of Glorious Way Church
• Ability to lift 20 pounds

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma. Bachelor’s Degree or higher is a plus.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 6 years experience in Children’s Ministry or related field where skill sets are similar (example: other church ministry, education) or Minimum of 2 years experience in one of those fields with a Bachelor’s Degree in applicable subject.
